What’s Joint Replacement?
Joint replacement surgery (arthroplasty) is when an orthopedic surgeon replaces part or all of a joint with an implant (a prosthesis). Joint replacement can provide pain relief and restore movement. So, you can move without pain and return to the activities you enjoy.
Acclaim Physician Group offers outpatient surgery, meaning you may return to the comfort of your home the same day as your joint replacement. You might need to stay overnight in the hospital, depending on what time your surgery takes place.

Talk to your primary care provider about getting a referral to an orthopedic surgeon for joint replacement surgery if you are 55 years old or older and:

- Are in good health overall
